Hey guys, I had a patient in the other day who has daily migraine headaches. When it comes to retained toxins in our body, particularly in our brain (neurotoxins), we have seen a really strong relationship between these retained toxins and these people who get chronic migraine-type headaches. There are other reasons, but there is a definite strong link with a lot of these people between retained toxins and chronic migraines.

Some things that we’ve also found that help, though. Something as simple as one-quarter teaspoon of ginger powder mixed in water at the beginning of a migraine has been shown to be just as effective as the most powerful migraine medications that are out there, obviously without the side effects. So, I would definitely try that.

Another thing that we’ve seen is, and it’s in the literature too, that a deficiency of magnesium, riboflavin, coenzyme Q10, and vitamin D has been linked to people who suffer from chronic migraine-type problems. So that would be something to bone up on. You definitely want to start with the whole food though, right? So you want to be having the same type of foods that we always talk about. Fatty fish like wild salmon, leafy green vegetables, broccoli, cauliflower, raw nuts and seeds, things like that, are going to be high in these nutrients. That’s where you want to start. You want to get your whole food through whole foods, and then you can supplement on top of that if you need to. The name supplement is as it implies, a supplement to an otherwise healthy lifestyle, a healthy eating program. It will not replace that, so you use it as a supplement.

But anyway, so I hope that helps you guys with migraines out there. Try the ginger powder. It really has proven itself over the years to be remarkably effective in people that get migraines. At the first sign of a migraine, take that quarter teaspoon of ginger powder, mix in a glass of water, and drink it down. See how that helps.

I hope this helps.

Take care, guys. God bless.
