“Better Health Begins At The Cell.” -Dr. Bill Cole

(If you have or suspect you might have thyroid related problems go to ColeClass.com and watch the short video (about 23 minutes) that I made for you. It’s free… You don’t even have to give me your email.)

Hey guys, I want to ask you a question. If you were to leave on vacation and you were to come home and your favorite plant looks like this when you came back, what are you automatically going to think?

You’re going to right away think that plants missing something. Maybe nutrients, water, or sunlight. We get that that plant could be deficient in something that’s going to negatively impact the health of that plant. Is it possible that plant could’ve been exposed to something, like maybe a toxin? Maybe a parasite? So, we understand that that plant could be missing something, deficient in something, it could be exposed to something, and it’s going to negatively impact the health of that plant. Why is it that we understand that so readily? No one’s going to argue with you about that. We get that just intuitively. It’s just something that we recognize, but what happens when human health begins to wilt? Why do we automatically go here?

That’s right! In the United States, we comprise 4.7% of the world’s population. We consume, by some estimates, almost 60% of all of the world’s medication. Where are we health-wise? What is it doing for us? And you know, I’d be the first person to zip it if it was working, but here are some sad facts. We spend on healthcare in the U.S. more than the next 10 countries combined, but according to the World Health Organization, we rank dead last in terms of our health index. We have more diseases per capita than other nation.

And the reason is, I believe, in large part because of the very same things that can damage that plant. They’re damaging the health of Americans and people across the world. We are deficient in nutrients, and we have been exposed to too many toxins. Maybe you’re deficient because you have a terrible diet. Maybe you’re deficient because you can’t digest and assimilate even a good diet. Maybe it’s a combination of the two things: a damaged gut and a poor diet.

One thing is for certain, in my experience, exposure to toxins. All the things that we see, from the medications we consume to the air we breathe, the water we drink, the food that we eat, the carpets we walk on, the couches we sit on, chlorine, fluoride, and you name it, right? It’s everywhere.

Our beauty products, ladies over 500 chemicals in your beauty products alone. The Environmental Working Group did a study that newborn babies in the United States, on average, had about 200 identifiable toxins in their cord blood. They identified in one baby 287 separates toxins. 180 of them were known to cause cancer. 216 known to cause brain damage. What’s the fastest growing disease in our society? Alzheimer’s, right?

When I graduated from chiropractic college, it could be expected that 1 in 10,000 children would develop autism, do you know what it is today? It’s 1 in 65. 1 in 85 girls. 1 in 45 boys.

I just read recently another estimate that was even worse. What am I saying? Health does not come in a pill, powder, potion, or lotion. If the oil light were to come on, or the engine light was to come on in your car, you’re going to automatically know that the engine light is not your problem. It’s telling you that you have a problem.

What if my advice would be to put a piece of tape over that, so you don’t have to look at it? You’re going to think its craziness, right? The engine light is not your problem. It’s telling you that you have a problem. The symptoms that you have in your body are not your problem.

If you’ve got high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or high blood sugar, they’re not your problem. It’s telling you that you have a problem. Arbitrarily, taking a medication to lower that does not address the reason why it was high. There is no such thing as a drug without side effect. When I was in school, I learned about the law of cause and effect. Not “cause, effect, and side effect”. That is a less serious sounding way of describing what happens when you put a known toxin into your body every day. Medications are known toxins.

There is no such thing as a drug without side effect. I’m not saying there’s not a time and a place. If you had raging high blood pressure I think it would be foolish to not address that short term, but I think it’s just as foolish to think that some pill is going to deliver health to you when it’s not addressing the root cause of your problem.

If you want to be well, you have to address the root cause. What is the root cause? It’s what I stated earlier. For most of the people that I see, it’s a deficiency of nutrients, and it’s exposure to too many toxins. We can talk about going down to the cell level of our body, our building blocks, they are our foundation. If you want to be well, you have to fix the cell.

There has never ever been, in the history of the world, a perfectly healthy person who was riddled with nothing but sick, weak, damaged cells. There’s also never been a sick, weak, damaged person who was full of nothing but healthy cells. Our cells tell the story. No matter what symptom, no matter what disease, it’s traceable back to that building block foundational level of your body: your cells. If you’re sick, your cells are sick. You have to fix the cell to be well.

So, I hope this gives you food for thought. I hope it makes you rethink this mentality of this pill, powder, potion, lotion mentality that is never going to deliver health to us. We continue to get more sick because we continue to avoid dealing with the real issue, which is the root cause of disease.

I hope this helps.

Take care, guys. God bless.
