(If you have or suspect you might have thyroid related problems go to ColeClass.com and watch the short video (about 23 minutes) that I made for you. It’s free… You don’t even have to give me your email.)

Hey guys, today I wanted to tell you about a simple breakfast idea. You take some canned coconut milk. Thai and Native Forest are my favorites. I love the taste of Thai, but they add BPA to it though. So, I try to avoid that or just have it minimally because I do really like the taste of it. Native Forest is still good, but there’s no BPA in it, and so I tend to go with that route. They do both have guar gum in it. Wish they didn’t, but it’s natural. It’s just in some people it causes a little bit of stomach upset. Not very many people though complain about that, though.

This coconut milk is really, really rich in healthy fat. That’s what is a big missing ingredient in the typical American diet, especially sick people. We’ve been told that we shouldn’t have fat. That it makes us fat. That it gives us heart disease, especially saturated fat. Well, nothing could be further from the truth. It’s something that we need to help heal ourselves, help burn fat, make hormones, and just regulate brain functions. There’s so much about healthy fat that we need. That it does what we need in our body.

In a blender, I add coconut milk, I would probably just use half of the can per person. That is a lot of calories all at once. I don’t want to get into that today. It’s just like in the beginning, if you haven’t been doing this, that’s a lot for your stomach. But over time you could do that. Then I add a bunch of fruit, half a banana, some strawberries, a wedge of pineapple, and some blueberries. Add some water and some ice just for volume. If you want to sweeten it up, then I would add some stevia to it.

I use the Vitamix, but the Ninja is good. There are other ones that are out there that are good it’s just that I’ve had my Vitamix for over 20 years. This thing has been like with workhorse.

You blend it all together, and you end up with a healthy drink. It’s really tasty. There are different things you can do with it. You can add stevia to it if you want to make it a little bit sweeter. It’s usually already sweet enough for me. You can also, and this would be preferable to me unless you’re really trying to limit the amount of carbs, but really raw honey is what we use in my house. It is unprocessed, unheated, unfiltered honey. It’s excellent. I’ve been using that for years.

If you’re looking for protein, then Great Lakes has a beef gelatin protein. If you’re trying to avoid dairy like whey protein powder, things like that, I would go with the green one. They have a green-colored one that I order and use. You can get that off of Amazon. We sell it in my office too, but it’s really a good protein powder.

Hey, I wanted to make mention of something with that breakfast because I don’t want there to be confusion. That half of can is still when you add that fruit in, you’re still talking about 500 calories especially with the honey. Not that that’s bad. We’ve got to get to the point that we can take in more calories. So many of you have been on calorie-deprivation diets for too long. But, look, there is still something to the idea that consuming too many calories when your body’s not effectively able to burn those calories, especially the fat calories. That’s something you need to work yourself into.

Really, in reality, in the beginning, you might even want to use just a quarter to a third of that can, especially for you females. Over time, you’ll see that your body becomes better and better at burning calories, and you can use more and more of that coconut milk. I just wanted to make sure you understand that. If you’re in a weight loss mode, it might be something that you want to work into slowly by starting off with a quarter of that can or a third of that can, keeping your fruit, your carbohydrates down somewhat too. If you want that extra sweetener, just add some stevia to it or a little bit of honey. You can do that too.

I hope this helps.

Take care, guys. God bless.
