Hey guys, this is going to be a little bit of an oddball blog post for most of you, but for some of you, you’re going to like this. You know, I talk about the fact that so many of us are stuck in sugar-burning mode, and we need to get a better conversion over to the ability to burn fat. But in the process, we really crave sugars. The fastest form of energy is what? It’s sugar, right? And if you’re stuck in sugar-burning mode and you can’t burn fat, your body’s going to be craving sugar or carbohydrates. That’s what we see, right? Carbohydrates are sugar. Don’t think of sugar as being like the white stuff. It’s carbohydrates.

So, one thing I recommend is organic Turkish figs. They’re really sweet, but they’re totally natural. This is a biblical food, right? The Bible talks about figs. As long as they don’t have sulfites in them and other bad things, just figs. They’re typically dried. And they’re really sweet because when you dry them, it condenses the sugar.

You can also get dried fruits like apricots, dates, or raisins. You don’t want to go crazy with this, because too much sugar is going to drive up inflammation in your body. But this is a really healthy treat compared to the stuff that Americans are regularly consuming that just have processed sugar in them. So, definitely try this.
