If you’ve been reading my blogs for any length of time, you know that I advocate for a return to an ancestral style of eating.

The morbid obesity and chronic diseases we’re facing as a nation are a direct result of the way we eat — high carb, high sugar, highly processed food has no place in the human body. It’s destroying us from the inside out.

Our bodies need nutrient dense, whole foods in order to thrive…foods like our ancestors used to eat. A focus on high quality meats and protein, loads of vegetables and fruits, and healthy fats should be the foundation of our diets, and will go a long way towards keeping our bodies in an anti-inflammatory state that will keep disease at bay.

At Key Cellular Nutrition, we’re firm believers that eating healthy should never be boring or bland, though…that’s why we have a resident chef who creates delicious recipes our clients can utilize on their healing journeys!

I’m going to be sharing a lot of these recipes on my website’s blog, which you can find at www.drbillcole.com/blog. If you want to change your health, start by shifting your mindset around food — utilize it as fuel and medicine, and stop falling prey to the empty calorie traps that are so common to the Standard American Diet. We hope these recipes will help with that!

Here are the first few we’ve posted, and I’ll be adding more each week (so check back often!):

AIP Pumpkin Pie Bars

Cauliflower Rice Mushroom Risotto

Ground Turkey Shepherd’s Pie

AIP Butternut Squash Soup

We love to take classic recipes and create nutrient-dense, healthy versions of them — and trust me when I tell you that the healthful ingredients don’t deter from the taste at all. In fact, the healthy version is often tastier than the original!

Let me know in the comments what kinds of recipes you’d like to see!
